The Blue Mountain School

Founded in 1961 by F.G. Pearce, this unique CISCE residential school on 4 acres emphasizes self-discovery over conventional education methods. With only 100 students and a 1:10 teacher ratio, the school features vertically grouped classes, no reward-punishment system, and learning approaches focused on cooperation rather than competition in Ooty's scenic valley.
